Dr. Fredrik Gunnarsson is a Senior Specialist at Ericsson Research, Linköping Sweden. He is also an Associate Professor of automatic control with Linköping University. His research interests include signal processing and automatic control aspects of radio resource and network management, as well as mobile localization. Dr. Gunnarsson is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology and is an IEEE Senior Member. He is one of the drivers behind the International Workshop on Self-Organizing Networks series alternating between IEEE VTC and ISWCS. He received the 2013 Ericsson Inventor of the Year Award.
